Marco de Trabajo para Construir el Modo Vivo en Distribuciones From Scratch

The main objective of this research is to develop a framework to build automated scripts that generate the Live mode in the Distributions from Scratch. Special emphasis is placed on the methodology of the initramfs and the use of GNU packages to adequate the scripts to the needs of developers. ¿Una voluntad colectiva de cambio? Partidos políticos y cooperación internacional en América Latina

El artículo propone buscar denominadores comunes para un modelo\ud de cooperación regional que pueda fortalecer la gobernabilidad\ud democrática en sociedades cuyas relaciones económicas y políticas\ud tienden a ser cada vez más informales, como ocurre en\ud algunos países de América Latina. Desde el punto de vista del autor,\ud fenómenos tales como la migración, la descentralización o el\ud populismo serían interpretados como consecuencias de una crisis\ud de expectativas, respuestas informales más o menos organizadas\ud que se enfrentan a un aparato estatal muy concentrado que sólo\ud ha alcanzado a desarrollar una fachada democrática, incapaz de\ud promover la cohesión social, proporcionar reglas del juego estables\ud y garantizar la confianza en sus liderazgos públicos y partidos\ud políticos. Estas tres variables son fundamentales para la consolidación\ud de democracias que aún son inestables, y pueden abrir el camino\ud de un nuevo modelo de cooperación internacional con\ud América Latina en materia de gobernabilidad democrática, más\ud actualizado que los enfoques tradicionales basados en las reformas\ud del Estado.The article proposes to look for common denominators for a model\ud of regional cooperation that can fortify the democratic governability\ud in societies whose economic and political relations tend\ud to be more and more informal, as it happens in some countries of\ud Latin America. The author believes that phenomena such as the\ud migration, the decentralization or the Populism could be interpreted as consequences of a crisis of expectations: informal answers\ud that face a State organization very concentrated, that has\ud only developed a fictitious democracy, incapable to promote the\ud social cohesion, to provide stable game rules and to guarantee the\ud confidence in its public leaderships and political parties. These\ud three variables are very important for the consolidation of democracies\ud that are still unstable, and they can open the way of a new\ud model of International cooperation with Latin America in the\ud matter of democratic governability, more updated than the traditional\ud approaches based on the reforms of the State

Programas de educación para la salud y adherencia terapéutica en pacientes hipertensos

La hipertensión arterial (HTA) es una enfermedad en la que se produce una elevación de los niveles de presión arterial de forma continua. Es uno de los factores de riesgo clave de las enfermedades cardiovasculares, ya que puede provocar infartos de miocardio y accidentes cerebrovasculares. Es una enfermedad que afecta a mil millones de personas en el mundo, con una prevalencia en nuestro país del 42,6%, o lo que es lo mismo, 16,5 millones de personas, la padecen, y de todos ellos, sólo el 63,7% tienen conocimiento previo de su enfermedad, lo que equivale a 6 millones de personas en España con HTA sin diagnosticar. Con esta revisión bibliográfica se pretende conocer el nivel de adherencia terapéutica de los pacientes hipertensos, así como identificar los planes de actuación más efectivos que lleva a cabo la enfermera en Atención Primaria. Se ha comprobado que las actividades de educación para la salud para el control de la enfermedad, producen cambios en el estilo de vida, como el aumento de la actividad física, la alimentación saludable y el abandono de hábitos insalubres como tabaquismo, abuso de alcohol y estrés. Aunque la adherencia terapéutica que presentan estos pacientes es muy baja, los planes de actuación que llevan a cabo las enfermeras, tienen buenos resultados en cuanto a la mejora de la adherencia tanto farmacológica como no farmacológica. La utilidad de las actuaciones llevadas a cabo por la enfermería es bastante alta, como se muestra en la investigación más reciente.Grado en Enfermerí

Ontología y Procesamiento de Lenguaje Natural

At present, the convergence of several areas of knowledge has led to the design and implementation of ICT systems that support the integration of heterogeneous tools, such as artificial intelligence (AI), statistics and databases (BD), among others. Ontologies in computing are included in the world of AI and refer to formal representations of an area of knowledge or domain. The discipline that is in charge of the study and construction of tools to accelerate the process of creation of ontologies from the natural language is the ontological engineering. In this paper, we propose a knowledge management model based on the clinical histories of patients (HC) in Panama, based on information extraction (EI), natural language processing (PLN) and the development of a domain ontology.Keywords: Knowledge, information extraction, ontology, automatic population of ontologies, natural language processing

Opportunity offered by the Empowerment ICT: A Survey ICT and Empowerment in the Espigadilla

Abstract-ICT could redesign the health service environment in a more representative way. Replacing structures and models centered in the patient, achieving objectives y immediate goals of active participation through the empowerment of ICT health services. I safe to promote the use of ICT in a context of health in central America could give rise to grave social, ethical and practical problems, especially in relation with the digital gap, meaning the participations of persons without access to technology. Never the less this article plants an empowerment model centered in the patient, supported by ICT, which will demonstrate the reach that can be achieved through the empowerment of ICT in the context of health. On the other hand, a first approach to the model will be presented, through a field study conducted in a rural area of Panama with which the reach of the model is to be measured

Towards a Solution to Create, Test and Publish Mixed Reality Experiences for Occupational Safety and Health Learning: Training-MR

Artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, Human Augmentation, virtual reality, or mixed reality have been rapidly implemented in Industry 4.0, as they improve the productivity of workers. This productivity improvement can come largely from modernizing tools, improving training, and implementing safer working methods. Human Augmentation is helping to place workers in unique environments through virtual reality or mixed reality, by applying them to training actions in a totally innovative way. Science still has to overcome several technological challenges to achieve widespread application of these tools. One of them is the democratisation of these experiences, for which is essential to make them more accessible, reducing the cost of creation that is the main barrier to entry. The cost of these mixed reality experiences lies in the effort required to design and build these mixed reality training experiences. Nevertheless, the tool presented in this paper is a solution to these current limitations. A solution for designing, building and publishing experiences is presented in this paper. With the solution, content creators will be able to create their own training experiences in a semiassisted way and eventually publish them in the Cloud. El estado del arte: Salud inteligente y el internet de las cosas

El Internet de las cosas (IoT) es la nueva tendencia de dispositivos en el mercado. Esta tecnología está siendo desarrollada por múltiples fabricantes de diversas partes del mundo para solucionar problemas específicos del día a día de las personas. Sin embargo, en la actualidad se están dando muchos casos de fallas de seguridad en dispositivos IoT, en este caso en hospitales. En este escrito también se describe el IoT como un complemento al sector salud haciendo referencia a las tecnologías creadas e implementadas por distintos fabricantes. Se presentan también los distintos métodos de seguridad que los fabricantes han implementado en sus soluciones y sus productos, desde diseños de topologías alámbricas e inalámbricas, hasta seguridad perimetral estricta de capa 2 y capa 3, las cuales trabajan en conjunto con la programación segura y recomendaciones para que el usuario final realice el uso adecuado del mismo. Al final del escrito se presenta la tecnología WBAN y los riesgos que conlleva junto con el IoT si no se asegura adecuadamente, ya que podría ser crítico y pondría en riesgo la vida de los pacientes. El objetivo es implementar en nuestro sistema IoT una capa extra de seguridad informática sin depender que el fabricante la haya embebido en su producto. Dicha capa dificulta que el atacante pueda manipular nuestros equipos a su conveniencia o que pueda explotar una falla conocida en un dispositivo que pueda perjudicar la vida, salud e integridad del paciente

Conversations between British and Indian Characters in A Passage to India: A Reappraisal of Politeness Theory

This article investigates the discoursive dimension of literary texts at the level of character’s interaction drawing its evidence from E.M. Forster’s A Passage to India (1924). Firstly, the main categories proposed by Brown and Levinson (1978, 1987) in their seminal study of ‘politeness phenomena’ are presented together with some of the questions raised by the application of the theory to social psychology and stylistic analyses. This model is the applied to fictional conversations between British and Indian participants in order to discover the ways linguistic strategies are selected to limit other participant’s freedom (‘negative face’) or challenge their personal image (‘positive face’). This selection of verbal strategies will convey information about power relations, and the way speakers react to these circumstances. Tentative conclusions call for revision and further research

eHealth Management Platform for Screening and Prediction of Down’s Syndrome in the Republic of Panama

Through engineering projects, we have integrated software engineering, geographical information systems and HL7 standard to propose a model of an eHealth management platform for Down’s syndrome screening, replicable in all the country.
